The Community Newspapers, formerly the Heritage Newspapers, were purchased by The Flint Journal's parent company, Booth Newspapers, and The Flint Journal took over publication and distribution beginning October 1, 2002. Burton News
For many years, The Burton News was known as The Suburban News. The newspaper
